Information Technology is part of our everyday lives, in our homes, our workplaces and now in our places of worship. With so many ways to use technology and so many options in the marketplace, implementing an effective, efficient, and secure technology strategy can seem overwhelming. As parishes come together to form communities, each will bring with them their own IT infrastructure, comprised of a variety of tools, vendors and service providers for hardware, networking, internet, communication, and office applications, among others. Some resources at the Chancery can help you make sense of your current technology landscape and explore ways to improve and enhance, as well as simplify. For more information, please send an email to [email protected].

Parishes can live-stream (internet broadcast) Masses or events on their Facebook page very easily with “Facebook Live."
Needed in order to do this:
The Diocese supports setting up email accounts with your parish domain (e.g. @stmarys.org, @yourparishname.org)
To ensure cyber security for your parish and parishioners we suggest using email accounts with your domain. We will help in setting up email accounts, phishing filters and anti-virus software.
