Special Events

This coverage is required for all NON-diocesan, parish or agency sponsored events.

Persons or organizations who want to use our property must provide proof of sufficient insurance coverage to protect the Diocese, parish or agency.

In the case where a Certificate of Insurance is provided by the renter, Rich Ziccardi must review and approve the Certificate in advance of the event.

The Certificate must contain the required diocesan certificate language.

When the individual or organization is unable to provide us with proof of insurance, then Special Event Insurance must be obtained in order to secure coverage for the specific event.

• System will take the individual or organization through the process to purchase coverage.
• The individual or organization can chose to pay for the event by CREDIT CARD OR BY CHECK.

Once the transaction is completed, the individual or organization will receive via email a Binder/Certificate evidencing coverage.

The event’s venue (parish or location) will also receive a Certificate as part of the application process.
