To meet certain protocols to keep our Cyber-Insurance policy active from our Insurer please have your Parish implement the below items. Please help us keep our Cyber-Insurance up to the standards so we can keep each location covered.
Key cyber security requirements:- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for access
- Endpoint detection and response (ie. Antivirus)
- Plan for old software, PCs, and servers to decommission (minimum Windows 10)- Process to patch and update machines
- Backup and restore (encrypted offsite or cloud backup)
- Security awareness training (free training videos available through Paylocity)- Separate and secure sensitive data (cloud software - Gabrielsoft.com)- Setup guest Wi-Fi networks
- Logging and monitoring users (deactive/delete unused account/users)
Recommended Hardware:
- At least Windows 10 operating system (SPECS)
- Firewall

IF you are using an @aol or @optonline consider switching to your parish or location domain name. For example - pastor@rcdopcathedral.org instead of pastor@aol.com.
